Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information Chenzo Studios collects, how we use it, and the choices available to you when you use our website, editor, and published browser-source widgets.
Last updated: July 19, 2026
01
Scope
This policy applies to Chenzo Studios websites, accounts, editor tools, project storage, and published widget pages (collectively, the “Service”). It does not govern third-party websites or services that we do not control.
02
Information we collect
We collect information in the following categories:
- Account information: your email address, account identifier, authentication status, and related account records. Authentication credentials are processed through Supabase.
- Project content: project names, text, social handles, countdown settings, styles, animations, and other widget configuration you choose to save or publish.
- Technical information: hosting and infrastructure providers may process IP address, browser and device details, request timestamps, referring pages, diagnostic information, and security logs when you access the Service.
- Communications: information you include when contacting us for support or otherwise communicating with Chenzo Studios.
03
How we use information
- Provide, maintain, and secure the Service.
- Create and authenticate accounts.
- Save, publish, update, and delete your widget projects.
- Respond to support requests and service communications.
- Diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
04
Published widgets and public URLs
When you publish a widget, Chenzo Studios creates a unique URL designed to work without login in an OBS Browser Source. Anyone who has that URL may view the published widget and the content shown in it.
Do not place confidential, sensitive, or private information in a published widget. Other users cannot use a public widget URL to access your account or your other private projects, but you are responsible for deciding where the URL is shared.
05
Cookies and session storage
We use cookies or similar browser storage that are necessary to keep you signed in, maintain session security, and operate core features. We do not currently use advertising cookies or sell information for targeted advertising. Your browser may allow you to block cookies, but doing so may prevent account and editor features from working.
06
How information is shared
We may share information only as needed with:
- Supabase, which provides authentication, database, and realtime infrastructure.
- Netlify, which hosts and delivers the Service.
- Professional advisers, authorities, or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or complete a business transaction.
We do not sell your personal information. If we add payment or analytics providers in the future, we will update this policy before their data practices apply.
07
Data retention and deletion
We retain account information and saved projects while your account remains active and as reasonably necessary to operate the Service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, and satisfy legal obligations. Deleting a project removes its associated published widget. To request account or personal data deletion, contact us at the email below. Residual copies may remain temporarily in backups or logs.
08
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including authenticated access and database row-level access controls, to protect account and project information. No system or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Keep your password confidential and contact us if you suspect unauthorized account access.
09
Your choices and rights
You may update or delete projects through the Service and may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights, including rights to object to or restrict certain processing or lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
10
Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
11
International processing
Chenzo Studios and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have different data protection laws. Where required, appropriate safeguards will be used for international transfers.
12
Policy changes and contact
We may update this policy as the Service changes. The revised policy will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice where appropriate.
Questions or privacy requests may be sent to chenzostudios@gmail.com.
